When you think of American whiskies, you might imagine the well-known brands you see in your local pub or supermarket. But did you know that American whiskies can range from grain-based to wood-aged? And what exactly is a mash?

The different grains we use and where the maturing spirit sits will all contribute to the flavour. Plus, the types of oak we use really shape the final product. You’ll be both inspired and amazed by the whole whiskey-making journey across the American continent. 

In this tasting, we’ll explore some of the most intriguing classic names, along with a few newer brands that are really making waves in the whiskey world. 

These Summer 2026 tastings will run from 6:15 pm to 7:45 pm, so you can stroll down to the shop and enjoy a 10 per cent discount on any bottle in the shop that is exclusive to our tasting room customers after the tasting.
